Control Data Theft and Power Management in Your Business
"Memory sticks, mobile phones, iPods and digital cameras mean data theft and system infection are a business reality."
"A PC left running 24 hours per day would use £59 worth of electricity over a 12 month period and result in emissions of 716kg of carbon dioxide a year."
The influx of portable storage devices and removable media has meant data theft is becoming an increasing threat to organizations. Devices such as USBs, Wi-Fi, FireWire, Bluetooth, iPods, MP3s connect seamlessly to company networks, without IT administrators and business owners having any knowledge that their company data is being exposed.
